Bea Alonzo’s Tagaytay Condo Is Giving us Major Vacay Vibes
Everyone knows Bea Alonzo. This local star is a household name in every right, she’s a teleserye-regular, a leading actress in dozens of movies, and an endorser to fashion and makeup brands alike. Bea Alonzo, aside from all of those things, is also a human being who gets tired and needs rest. This iconic star gets her R&R In the middle of Tagaytay.
Bea Alonzo’s Tagaytay condo was designed by interior designer Jeizele Reyes-Go. The designer shares that Bea didn’t want to spend too much for the space, given that she and her family will only head up there every now and then.
Bea Alonzo’s condo has a lot of storage, even if the space was intended for short stays. The renovation took less than a month.
“It really represents who I am– it’s uncomplicated, simple, elegant, and comfortable, it’s like an extension of my main house,” shares Bea Alonzo.
The sofa is also a great example of multifunctional furniture. It can be set-up as an L-shaped seating for the family, or two chaise lounges for TV watching, and when pushed together, it can be a guest bed.
Behind the sofa, there’s a ledge that equalizes the awkward nook created by the structural column, It serves as an additional surface for accessories. Bea initially wanted dainty hanging lights, but with Tagaytay’s wind, it was a disaster waiting to happen. The designer was able to reach a compromise with an industrial lighting piece that balances the feminine space.
“I love what Jeizele did to the interiors because it’s the first time I wasn’t [hands-on] with the design process,” shares Bea Alonzo.
In the kitchen, storage was added overhead the cooking area. “I had to install them above the stove to maximize the cooking area,” shares Jeizele.
The ghost chairs add an airy feel to the space, making the stunning views the highlight of Bea Alonzo’s condo.
In the bedroom, the modern country look was continued. “The style is really sweet and laidback, it’s something I see in Bea’s personality,” shares the interior designer. In the bathroom, two mirrors were installed on both ends to make the small space appear larger.
No matter how short and sweet their stays here for vacation, the unit exudes a sweet and welcoming atmosphere, a quality that its owner is known for, on and off-screen.
