An Ancestral-House-Turned-Homey-Café Now Serves All-Day Brekky!
From the group that brought the restaurants Liberty Asian + Refuge Bar, Lola Café, and Golden Cowrie into Quezon City, the company The Lola Groupe now adds another food gem to the list with this cozy and homey café called Little Owl.
Tucked in the busy area of New Manila, Little Owl serves as a refuge for those looking for a place where they can just chill out and have a good time. It’s a hidden nook that serves all-day breakfast and cocktails—perfect for fans of brunch and early drinking.
The place where Little Owl stands used to be an ancestral house until the owners decided to turn it into a cozy café for both the locals and guests in the area. The original foundation of the old house was retained, but its interiors were transformed into a homey haven with its white walls and airy inside spaces.
“Here, we want our guests to really feel at home and welcomed, we have a more personalized service because we want our guests to enjoy their stay and come back after,” shares restaurant manager Nette Gallo.
Here are a few of what they serve:
Tapa Benedict (P280) boasts of Little Owl’s house-made tapa served with poached egg, fresh tomatoes, and is topped with hollandaise sauce.
Prawn & Basil Aioli Sandwich (230) is made with pan-seared prawns, pesto aioli, and is topped with melted mozzarella cheese.
Chicken N’ Waffle (P290) adds a spicy twist to your regular waffle with its sriracha coleslaw on cheddar waffle. It’s served with shoestring fries that you’ll definitely go back for.
The Red Sangria (P180) is red wine infused with brandy, triple sec, orange, and lemon that brings in a flavorful mouth feast.
Little Owl sources its coffee beans from Toby Estate straight from Australia.
